BRADDOCK, PA – Pennsylvania U.S. Senator John Fetterman on Monday released the following statement after the death of United Steelworkers Union International President Tom Conway:
“Gisele and I are devastated by the passing of United Steelworkers President Tom Conway, a force in the labor movement and an advocate for workers across Pennsylvania and this country.
“Throughout my time in public service, it was always an honor and a privilege to spend time with Tom. I have not encountered a greater fighter for working people than Tom and the United Steelworkers Union.
“We send our deepest condolences to Tom’s family and loved ones in this difficult time. He will be missed.”
