The Office of U.S. Senator John Fetterman can provide letters of support for qualified applicants to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighter Grants (AFG) and Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) grant opportunities.
To receive a letter of support, please email Nick_Borgaonkar@fetterman.senate.gov and Olivia_Reneau@fetterman.senate.gov with your 1) application narrative, 2) draft letter of support, and 3) any other materials relevant to understanding your application.
The deadline to submit requests for letters of support for the AFG program is March 8th, 2024. The deadline for letters of support for the SAFER grant program is April 12th, 2024.
Letters will not be provided after the grant deadline.
